Inspired by the quiet rhythm of the sea, Sea in Hand captures layers of blue and white waves in a small three-dimensional plaster landscape.
From a distance, it feels like a tiny seascape resting on your desk or bedside table. Look a little closer and you’ll see the raised ridges, soft shadows and flowing blue tones that give every wave its depth.
Each piece is finished by hand, so subtle variations in the texture and colour of the waves make every little sea slightly different.
A Seascape That Holds Scent
The unglazed plaster surface also works as a passive aroma stone, gently absorbing and releasing your favourite fragrance.
Simply add a few drops of essential or fragrance oil to one of the pale plaster areas and allow it to absorb naturally.
No flame, electricity or water is needed — just a quiet little way to bring fragrance into your space.
How to Use
Add 2–3 drops of your chosen essential or fragrance oil onto a pale or white area of the plaster.
Allow approximately one minute for the oil to absorb naturally.
The fragrance will then gradually diffuse into the surrounding space.
When the scent begins to fade, simply add a few more drops.
Made to Be Different
The waves are individually formed and finished, so no two pieces will have exactly the same texture or colour placement.
These small variations are part of the handmade character of each piece — much like the sea itself, no two views are ever quite the same.

Please Note
Essential and fragrance oils are not included.
We recommend using clear or pale-coloured oils where possible, as darker oils may leave visible marks on the plaster.
Once the oil has been applied, allow it to absorb naturally rather than wiping the surface.
The plaster relief is decorative and should be handled with care. Keep away from excessive moisture and avoid dropping or knocking the piece against hard surfaces.
