Ready to Ship & Made to Order

At TogetherBox Studio, some of our pieces are already made and ready to be sent, while others are handmade, hand-finished or prepared especially for your order.

Many of our products are created by independent artists and small-batch makers. Production times may therefore vary depending on the maker’s current schedule, material availability and the processes involved in creating each piece.

The estimated production and dispatch timeframe for each item will always be shown on the individual product page before you place your order.

Ready to Ship

Items marked Ready to Ship are already available and are normally dispatched within:

1–3 working days

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

This is the estimated dispatch timeframe. Delivery time begins after dispatch and depends on the delivery service selected.

For estimated delivery times after dispatch, please see our Delivery page.

Made to Order

Our Made to Order pieces usually fall into one of the following estimated production timeframes:

Approximately 15–25 working days

or

Approximately 4–8 weeks

The applicable timeframe will always be stated on the individual product page.

These timeframes refer to the estimated time required before dispatch and do not include delivery time after your order has been shipped.

For items quoted in working days, working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

Ready to Ship: 1–3 working days; Made to Order: 15–25 working days or 4–8 weeks; delivery time begins after dispatch.

Why Made to Order Times Can Vary

Many of our Made to Order pieces are handmade, hand-finished or produced in small batches.

Occasionally, production may take a little longer due to factors such as artist or maker workload, studio schedules, material availability, ceramic firing or specialist production processes, the complexity of an individual piece, or unexpected production difficulties.

We always aim to complete and dispatch your order within the estimated timeframe shown on the product page.

If Your Order Is Taking Longer Than Expected

If we become aware that your Made to Order item is likely to take longer than the estimated timeframe, we will contact you with an update and, where possible, a revised estimated dispatch date.

If your order has passed the maximum estimated production timeframe shown on the product page, you are welcome to continue waiting for your piece.

If you would prefer not to wait any longer, please contact us through our Contact Us page. We will explain the cancellation and refund options available to you, including any statutory rights that apply.

Where an order has experienced a significant production delay and you choose to continue waiting, we may also offer a small goodwill voucher as a thank-you for your patience.

Any goodwill gesture is separate from any refund or statutory remedy and does not affect your legal rights.

If We Are Unable to Complete Your Order

Very occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may mean that we are unable to complete a Made to Order item.

This may happen because materials become unavailable, a maker is unable to complete the piece, or unexpected production difficulties arise.

If we are unable to fulfil an item, we will contact you as soon as possible and arrange any refund due to the original payment method where applicable.

Customer-Requested Cancellations

If you would like to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the type of product, the stage of production and applicable UK consumer law.

Please see our Return Policy for further information.

Being described as Made to Order does not automatically remove any statutory cancellation rights you may have.

Products that are genuinely personalised or made specifically to your individual specifications may be subject to different cancellation rules.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Orders Containing Ready to Ship & Made to Order Items

If your order contains both Ready to Ship and Made to Order items, we may dispatch the order together once all items are ready.

If you would prefer the Ready to Ship items to be sent separately, please contact us through our Contact Us page. Additional delivery charges may apply for separate shipments.

A Little Note About Handmade Pieces

Handmade and small-batch pieces naturally take a little more time.

Our artists and makers work with a variety of specialist materials and processes, including ceramics, glazing, embroidery, textiles and hand-finishing.

Small variations in colour, texture, stitching, glaze, shape or finish can be a natural part of handmade work and are not, by themselves, considered faults.

If you believe an item is genuinely faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us through our Contact Us page and your statutory rights will of course apply.

Thank you for your patience and for supporting independent artists and small-batch makers.
