Soul Treats & Play

Classical art, but make it funny.

Imagine a rather serious museum portrait deciding it has had quite enough of standing still. David’s Day Off brings a little old-master drama — and a wonderfully silly expression — to your desk, dressing table or bookshelf.

The best part is the eyes. They rotate through a full 360°, so you can change his gaze whenever the mood takes you: thoughtful, suspicious, surprised or quietly judging the state of your workspace.

The top of the head is hollow, turning this characterful little bust into a useful home for a small succulent or moss display, favourite pens and pencils, or make-up brushes. With its warm, natural stone-textured finish, it has the look of a miniature sculpture while the resin construction keeps it sturdy and practical for everyday use.
