Personalised Gifts

A little storybook world, hidden inside your cup.

This whimsical handmade ceramic mug is designed to make an everyday tea or coffee moment feel a little more magical. Look inside and you’ll discover a tiny three-dimensional cat sitting in its own cosy room, complete with a little pink teacup, colourful patchwork walls, blue curtains and a window looking out into the night sky.

Every piece is individually shaped, painted and finished by hand, giving the mug the wonderfully imperfect character of a small handmade artwork rather than a factory-made piece.

The tiny raised details inside are also hand-formed before the mug is glazed and fired at high temperature, creating a playful miniature scene that gradually reveals itself as you enjoy your drink.

With its colourful storybook illustration, soft irregular shape and tiny hidden cat companion, this is a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys cats, unusual ceramics, cosy interiors and objects with a little personality.

Perfect for slow mornings, afternoon tea, bedside drinks or simply displaying somewhere special.

Made to Order · Our Best Price

This piece is individually handmade in small batches.

Please allow approximately 4–8 weeks for your mug to be made, finished and delivered.

The production process includes hand-forming the ceramic, creating the miniature three-dimensional details, hand painting, glazing and high-temperature firing. Because of the handmade process, production time can occasionally vary slightly.

Choosing Made to Order allows us to create only what is needed, reduce unnecessary stock and offer our best available price.

If you are purchasing this as a gift for a particular date, we recommend ordering well in advance.

Please Note

Each mug is individually handmade, painted and fired, so no two pieces will be completely identical.

Small differences in shape, brushwork, colour placement, glaze finish and the position of the miniature decorations are natural characteristics of handmade ceramics.

You may also notice tiny pinholes, subtle glaze variations, slight unevenness or small marks created during shaping and firing. These are part of the handmade character of the piece and are not considered defects.

The product you receive will retain the same overall design and character shown in the photographs, while having its own small individual variations.

Care

This ceramic piece is made using a high-temperature firing process and is suitable for everyday use.

• Microwave suitable
• If using a dishwasher, we recommend a gentle cycle
• Hand washing is recommended where possible to help preserve the hand-painted finish
• Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes
• Do not place directly onto an open flame or hob
• Take care when handling the raised three-dimensional decorations inside the mug
• Avoid knocking the interior decorations with metal utensils

Returns

Because every piece is handmade, natural variations in shape, colour, brushwork and glaze are part of the design and are not considered faults.

If your item arrives damaged or you believe there is a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs so we can help.
